I am a deep tissue massage therapist/bodyworker. I specialize in Synergistic Myofascial Therapy. That is a form of very deep tissue myofascial work. The body work is performed on a table on top of the sheets. The client wears shorts (men), or sports bra and shorts or bathing suit (women). There is active movement on the part of the client and a good amount of stretching is involved. There is also little or no lotion involved. It is not a relaxing massage but very effective for athletes or people with chronic tight spots and problem areas. I am also undergoing certification in Active Isolated Stretching under Aaron Mattes.
