I start with the neck if face up and with the feet if face down. Gentle compressions turn into slow deep pressure to melt the muscle tissue to relaxation. This is your time, your recovery. It is not necessary to talk during your session, unless it is a deep tissue massage in which case I just need a little feedback about the firmness of my pressure. It is perfectly fine to fall asleep during a session. When the massage is complete, I will offer you time to enjoy the moments afterward before you get dressed. Take a few minutes to rest on the table. Sitting or standing up quickly can cause you to feel dizzy and nauseous. After a massage, I recommend you drink plenty of water to help flush the toxins released during your massage out of your system.
