Therapeutic Massage is the practice of applying pressure or vibration to the soft tissues of the body, including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and joints. A form of therapy, massage can be applied to specific parts of the body or successively to the whole body, to heal injury, relieve psychological stress, manage pain, improve circulation and relieve tension. I incorporate many modalities in each massage, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology and Trigger Point Therapy. This is the “style” in which I perform most massages, but will always adjust to your needs or wants. I have been trained in other modalities such as cranial/sacral, acupressure, and shiatsu. If you are interested in any of these types of massage I can perform full sessions or incorporate into your regular massage. For this reason my fees are simple, I charge for my time not by type of massage. I have a private massage studio I share with a few other Therapists. It is a quit environment with relaxing music, candles and the scents of essential oils. You can step away from it all for a while and allow me to ease you muscle pains and tension away.
