A restriction is the result of fascia becoming adhered or "stuck". This alters the natural and efficient alignment of your physical structure. I like to think of massage therapy and yoga as methods of helping people feel better, and empowering them by creating a space to become more self aware. Once the distraction of physical stress or pain is lifted, we have the chance to take a breath and just feel good. Oftentimes, I see the stress across clients’ faces and almost literally the weight on their shoulders before a treatment. I believe holistic modalities like myofascial release massage and yoga (literally meaning “to yoke,” or “union”) give people a chance to feel their mind, body, and heart connection, and bring us back to what matters to us as individuals. When that same person walks out of the treatment room, I can tell that some part of them, maybe even just subconsciously, has remembered what it is like to rest, to breath, and to smile. I love this gift. Common problems that massage and yoga can help relieve include back pain, sciatica, shoulder and neck tension, whiplash, headaches, muscles spasms, muscle cramps, insomnia, and stress-related tension and pain.

I enjoy making people feel better. I enjoy seeing the sigh of relief when they get off my table at the end of a session. Massage to me, is something that needs to be a part of daily life. There is so much that goes on in our lives;so much that is thrown at us everyday; so much that our body takes on to keep us functional. I believe that all of that stress, is the cause of a good chunk of the illnesses that plague us today. I Believe that one massage can go a long way for someone; it can open up new possibilities and free up pent up emotional and mental energies that allow us to operate at a more vibrant level ; a more conscious level. That is what I hope and strive to achieve with my clients when they arrive to my massage table. I offer a place to breathe, pause, and reboot their bodies, minds , and spirits.

I thoroughly enjoy Massage Therapy. My personal specialties/favorites are neck work, Therapeutic Massage, and Sports Massage. I have worked in the massage clinic field since 2007. I worked in a hair salon for a year. I am told I am small, but mighty. I have good pressure and small hands perfect for trigger points.
