Caring Palms is a nice, relaxing place to get much needed work whether that be to relieve problems or simply to relax and reduce stress. Massage styles include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Myofascial Release, Hot Stone, and Esalen-Inspired relaxation massage. Reiki energy sessions are performed as well. Reiki classes are also available from Beginner to Master. Caring Palms also teaches classes on Massage for couples that want to learn to work on each other as well as Meditation and other energy classes. Caring Palms takes the time you need. Clients are not rushed in and out. Each hour massage is a full 60 minutes of massage. Caring Palms will also consult before each session to find the best treatment. Caring Palms will also do free consultations up to 15 minutes whether you have a session or not.

I perform sports massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy massage, and Swedish massage for the every day person, the weekend warrior, and/or the competitive athlete. My over 33 years experience as a massage therapist, 30+ years experience as an exercise physiologist, and 19+ years experience as a physical therapist have given me an excellent working knowledge of the human body. I published a masters thesis on "The Effects of Massage Therapy on Delayed-Onset Muscle Soreness after Unaccustomed Exercise for Healthy, Sedentary Adults" in 1992. I was a staff massage therapist for the Lipton International Players Championships (tennis) in Key Biscayne, Florida for 4 years, having the privilege of working with the top tennis players in the world as well as other professional and Olympic athletes. I have been doing body work for 20 years now. I started out doing massage therapy in 2003 when I was first licensed. Then went on to get my doctorate in physical therapy. I am also a licensed physical therapist. I then wanted to continue with my body work knowledge and became certified in Dry Needling which is similar to Acupuncture. I then wanted to give people more access to my care without needing a referral so I decided to reinstate my license in 2024. I have extensive knowledge and experience in helping people get out of pain. I only perform Clinical massage- problem/pain focused and Sports massage (faster paced competition prep and recovery focused)
