Tamar Myers has been in private practice since 1992. She specializes in working with clients looking to make lasting lifestyle changes to improve their well-being. Tamar has studied deep tissue bodywork, cranio-sacral therapy, visceral massage, neural manipulation as well as movement coaching. Tamar is a certified Aston-Patterner which is a comprehensive approach emphasizing assessment making each treatment specific and unique to the individual. Tamar also incorporates Active Isolated Stretching and fitness consulting to empower clients to attend to their tension patterns between sessions. It is important to understand that, when coming to see Tamar, you will experience a variety of bodywork modalities. After assessing what is happening in your body, a unique treatment will be designed based on your needs for that day. There is no standard protocol since every body is different and needs to be addressed individually. Tamar's work is strongly influenced by the concepts in manual osteopathy.
