Every Body Deserves a GREAT massage
Contact Dale for Muscle Pain Relief
Trained at Profesional Massage Training Center in Springfield, MO under the direction of Juliet Mee
Graduated in July of 2008
Created TissueIssues in Sept 2008. The name coming from a teacher discussing that whiplash is a "soft tissue issue"
TissueIssues focuses upon the relief of muscle pain more so than the relaxation aspect of massage techniques.
TissueIssues highlights the convenience to would-be clients by providing therapies in to 2 locations, a private office located on Battelfield road; one of the busiest streets with easy access in Springfield, as well as the Pat Jones Branch of the YMCA
A 2nd highlight for choosing TissueIssues is the hours of operation: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. INCLUDING weekends.
Bio
While I've been trained in Swedish as has every other therapist, my focus is on the relief of pain by using the modalities of Thai-yoga, Neuromuscular techniques (NMT), Hot Stone, and Sports Therapies.
I'm an avid cyclist and would like to direct my practice to treating those persons enjoying the sports of running, cycling, and swimming. But pain is not limited to just those sports, and so I'll GLADLY welcome any and all experiencing muscle pain whether it be from weight training, rear end collisions, or bending over to put on socks.
I've also been trained to provide Compassionate Touch via Ann Catlin. Hence the CCTP certification. This modality specializes in focused touch methods for the frail elderly and terminally ill; two populations most in need of the power of touch.
I'm also highly involved in kite flying, computers and origami and a self proclaimed computer geek/guru.
I'm a single man nowadays with a son turning 28 in 2014 - he's my golden point of light that keeps me going.
I also serve as caregiver to my aging mother of 91 (in 2013) who experiences the frustrating effects of macular degeneration and Depuynter's Contracture in both hands. She's a frail lady having broken just about every bone during her lifetime. She is also very fiercely independent (as I am) and I sometimes feel she still takes more care of me than i do of her.
I consider my self a service person and i consider it to be the highest calling any person can take.

I recently had a 90 minute massage and a foot & hand scrub with Dale at Tissue Issue. It was fabulous!! I was SO relaxed, he does an outstanding job! I called a friend afterwards and she said I sounded like I had had a couple of glasses of wine.....I was that relaxed. I was apprehensive because I had not had a massage by a male massseuse before, but he was very professional and I did not feel uncomfortable. I HIGHLY recommend Dale, you will NOT be disappointed.
