When Life Rubs the Wrong Way
Let Me Rub the Right Way
Massage by Sarah’s mobile services - I’ll come to you! All in the comfort of your own home, allowing you to truly relax, no drive home, no need to even speak to me afterwards- I will quietly pack up and let myself out of the door, as you retire to a nearby room and allow your body to continue the healing process in its new state of profound relaxation that we have created together.

My mobile massage set up includes the same luxuries as you would receive in an office. Table comfort, heated if preferred, organic coconut oil and essential aromatherapy oils (where applicable), soothing music, bolsters for comfort, and all specialty treatments are transportable as well.

I strive to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to fill out paperwork and discuss your individual needs and goals for the massage treatment. On your first visit, you will be asked to fill out a brief medical information form. It is important that you let me know about any medical, physical or mental condition that could affect your treatment. In the future, please notify me of any changes. If you have any particular injuries, aches / pains that should be treated or avoided, any experience of unwanted pain/discomfort or ticklish areas at any point please tell me. Your massage should be a great experience. Communicate with me your likes and dislikes so I can more effectively tailor a massage to your needs and create an outstanding healing experience.

Undress as much as you are comfortable. Keep in mind that clothing can hinder the flow of the massage. Generally, during massage you're nude underneath a towel or sheet and only the area of the body being worked on is undraped. The most important thing is that you are comfortable. When getting on table, relax under the sheet face up for first time clients and let the worries drift off.

I will knock on the door to be sure you are ready. I start with the neck if face up and with the feet if face down. Gentle compressions turn into slow deep pressure to melt the muscle tissue to relaxation.

This is your time, your recovery. It is not necessary to talk during your session, unless it is a deep tissue massage in which case I just need a little feedback about the firmness of my pressure. It is perfectly fine to fall asleep during a session.

When the massage is complete, I will offer you time to enjoy the moments afterward before you get dressed. Take a few minutes to rest on the table. Sitting or standing up quickly can cause you to feel dizzy and nauseous. After a massage, I recommend you drink plenty of water to help flush the toxins released during your massage out of your system.

Sarah Hurt has been practicing as a licensed massage therapist since 2007. She completed over 700 hours of studies at Sarasota School of Massage Therapy in Sarasota, FL in 2006. She recently received her Associates Degree of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant and is now licensed. Sarah grew up "rubbing" her parent’s not knowing that God was creating her talent and in-bedding her compassion to helping people heal from pain and discomfort to function in daily activities. She believes God has given her a talent and a gift of healing that only comes through Christ. Sarah’s specialty is therapeutic massage focusing on deep tissue, and neuromuscular. Sarah is a member of the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and Florida State Massage Therapy Association.

Sarah has certifications in the following modalities: Swedish, Deep tissue, Neuromuscular,
Myofascial release, Hot stone, Lymphatic drainage, Chair massage, Prenatal, Stretching, and Trigger point. She combines many of the modalities to meet the therapeutic need of each client. Sarah’s unique style is to begin each massage with broad and gentle strokes working slowly and deep with a myofascial technique focusing on hyper tonicity in the muscles.

Sarah has worked for luxurious country club spas, luxurious resorts, chiropractor, fitness
centers and mobile massage. She offers massages in home or office by bringing her table and supplies so that the client has no worries of meeting scheduled time at an office. The client is able to relax in their home and not having to fight traffic or run errands, just relax after their massage.

It brings her joy when she sees progress in her clients after each therapeutic massage.
She does research on client problems to better assist the client on the next visit to continue improving their health. She has concern for the health of her clients and wants to see them progress. She encourages feedback from clients to better serve their needs.

Sarah’s work of massage is never done. Her children line up for the tender healing touch
of their mom as the night comes to a close. Her son Jacob enjoys the neck stretch. Her son Ethnan enjoys his back massaged. Her daughter enjoys her stomach massaged and skin rolling on her back.
