Contact Sarah Hurt, LMT, NMT
Massage by Sarah’s mobile services - I’ll come to you! All in the comfort of your own home, allowing you to truly relax, no drive home, no need to even speak to me afterwards- I will quietly pack up and let myself out of the door, as you retire to a nearby room and allow your body to continue the healing process in its new state of profound relaxation that we have created together. My mobile massage set up includes the same luxuries as you would receive in an office. Table comfort, heated if preferred, organic coconut oil and essential aromatherapy oils (where applicable), soothing music, bolsters for comfort, and all specialty treatments are transportable as well. I strive to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to fill out paperwork and discuss your individual needs and goals for the massage treatment. On your first visit, you will be asked to fill out a brief medical information form. It is important that you let me know about any medical, physical or mental condition that could affect your treatment. In the future, please notify me of any changes. If you have any particular injuries, aches / pains that should be treated or avoided, any experience of unwanted pain/discomfort or ticklish areas at any point please tell me. Your massage should be a great experience. Communicate with me your likes and dislikes so I can more effectively tailor a massage to your needs and create an outstanding healing experience. Undress as much as you are comfortable. Keep in mind that clothing can hinder the flow of the massage. Generally, during massage you're nude underneath a towel or sheet and only the area of the body being worked on is undraped. The most important thing is that you are comfortable. When getting on table, relax under the sheet face up for first time clients and let the worries drift off. I will knock on the door to be sure you are ready. I start with the neck if face up and with the feet if face down. Gentle compressions turn into slow deep pressure to melt the muscle tissue to relaxation. This is your time, your recovery. It is not necessary to talk during your session, unless it is a deep tissue massage in which case I just need a little feedback about the firmness of my pressure. It is perfectly fine to fall asleep during a session. When the massage is complete, I will offer you time to enjoy the moments afterward before you get dressed. Take a few minutes to rest on the table. Sitting or standing up quickly can cause you to feel dizzy and nauseous. After a massage, I recommend you drink plenty of water to help flush the toxins released during your massage out of your system.
