Come and get away from the orginary.Ahh a Massage is in a resort style house that once upon a time was an auto body shop. This is a home base therapeutice massage practice.
Retreat to a kinder, gentler time. The Koli fish invite you to relax. Enjoy the serentity garden during the summer and fall. I believe that a massage should touch all levels - mind, body and soul.
To give you the best possible massage, I will ask you to fill out an intake form. By knowing your medical background, medications and career demands I will create a relaxing massage to coax your knots to release. By relieve stress your muscles can broaden and lengthen. Building a trusting relationship with you is my goal so I can better serve you.
You are incharge of the massage - the pressure and strokes.you like. You don't endure any pain, thinking you have to please me.
After the intake form and we have discussed your goals, I will take you back to the massage room prepared for you. Heated table. Flannel sheets. Fountain and low lighst or candles.
You may chose to talk during your massage or just zone out. I will keep my talking to a minimun then.
I will be giving stretches to your neck, arms, and legs. You will be properly draped. All clients ask to leave underwear on. FYI males, Non-sexual massage so please don't ask for a happy ending.
Education/Training
I graduated from Community College of Allegheny County with a Associate Degree in Nursing, I have a Associate Degree in Massage Therapy from Community College of Allegheny County.
I was in the first class to graduate with a degree in the whole state of Pennsylvania. This program raised the bar for all other schools.
I have received training to help people with Fibromyalgia, gentle massage for the eldery, hope for those fighting Cancer, Mother and her unborn child,
Bio
I have over 30 years as an RN and over 10 years as a massage therapist. In third grade I use to give my blue collar father massages after his visits to the chiropractor.
While I was building the practice I gave massage for two different chiropractor practices and a high end hair salon.
Since my clients deal enough with everyday stress or pain, they want to wscape from the medical surroundings and the chemical odors at a salon.
To help my clients that have medical conditions such as arthritis, I became a dealer for the Softub Spa. This Softub hot tub can be in the house. It rolled thru a doorway. Plug into the wall socket and needs no special plumping, just fill from a garden hose. Strong enough to be outside in the snow.

Peters Township Chamber of Comerce, American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) I worked with the AMTA in Pennsylvania to get the law passed which requires massage therapists to be licensed in PA.
