Massage therapy is designed to enable the mind and body to relax and enter a state of tranquility. My name is Deana Briggs. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since early 2010. I work with many Fibromyalgia patients and learn more about the syndrome on a daily basis. Every client is different, therefore I treat every client different. I let the body tell me what needs to be done.

I believe that massage effectively treats body-mind-spirit of the person. I do not see myself as the one doing the healing, but as one who facilitates the healing that takes place within the client. To this end I practice swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and reflexology after making an assessment of the needs of the client after they have shared important facts about their health history and why they are seeking a massage. I can especially help relieve low back pain, neck pain, headaches, and shoulder problems. I also include a related therapy known as ionic detox foot bath. This is a foot bath that helps detoxify the body.

I am a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, a licensed Massage Therapist and a Reiki Master. I have a background in Medical Technology and a Master's Degree in Human Development and Family Wellness. My practice includes energy work, therapeutic bodywork , and Craniao-sacral work. I have studied Bach Flower remedies, Essential Oils and am learning more about herbs. I do lifestyle and stress education. I have taught Yoga and suggest stretches when appropriate.
