Since i was a kid i always had strong communication skills and a desire to help others. I grew up speaking three languages (English, Russian and French), which has made me a great listener. After receiving my education at the west coast college of massage therapy, i quickly realized that i chose the right field. I was lucky enough to gain a lot of experience working with patients seeking treatment for a variety of reasons. I worked with children and families at canucks place, acute and chronic burn or trauma victims at the Vancouver general hospital and varsity athletes at the university of British Columbia. Since then, using my constantly evolving skills to help others has been an addicting experience, and i strive to be the best therapist i can possibly be. I enjoy digging for articles that challenge my core beliefs as a practitioner because i find reading the best way to stay up to date with the world of medical science. I believe in strong communication with patients and that educating people about their own bodies is the best way to strive for a better quality of life. Re-evaluating progress and never being afraid to seek advice or help when needed has allowed me to create a strong mindset for my practice. Although my family and career are both very important to me, sports are not very far behind. Growing up i played almost every sport possible and although i was definitely never the most talented, i tried to make up for it with a elite level of work ethic. Since my hands are my work, i have replaced competitive sports with outdoor activities and British Columbia has been an amazing back yard. I also enjoy playing the guitar and piano, both of which i learned by myself.
Dominique Cleary, RMT
Massage Therapist
Burnaby, BC V5C0J9
Dominique is an RMT at Physio Collective
in Brentwood, Burnaby, BC
Prior to my journey as an rmt i worked in the service industry. Working with people brings me great joy and at one point in my serving career i realized i wasn’t contributing to the community in a mindful and health focused fashion. It was time for a change. Learning about the body and it’s systems in a way to benefit the people around me was the shift i was looking for. After graduating at vcmt from the 3000 hour program in 2013 i have been consistently practicing in north burnaby. In my practice i feel it’s my privilege to facilitate a healing environment and to encourage people to incorporate health and wellness in their everyday lives. Massage is a great way to start and continue your wellness journey. From general well being, stress management, postural concerns, and restoring functional movement to aiding in recovery from whiplash, surgery, sprains, strains, and pregnancy massage.

Stanzy is an RMT at Physio Collective
in Brentwood, Burnaby, BC
Stanzy is a graduate from the west coast college of massage therapy and has been practicing in the lower mainland for 2 years. Stanzy has always had a deep interest in human anatomy and physiology, which led to her entering the tattoo and piercing industry. Those years helped hone not only her communication and listening skills, but deepen the respect and compassion required to be an effective health care professional. As a therapist, Stanzy likes to treat with focus on restoring function to activities of daily living as well as postural education for long term maintenance. She feels all aspects of life contribute to dysfunctions and pain, encouraging education, whole body wellness and mindfulness are essential. While her experience has been predominantly with chronic pain due to traumatic injuries, she also has experience with spinal cord injuries and disorders, acute and chronic injuries, neurological issues, and the elderly. Her love of being a registered massage therapist stems from wanting to help people live better quality lives day to day.
