Bio:
Doctor Evelyn Mora is the founder and owner of Florida TMJ Physical Therapy Center and Healers of Motion Physical Therapy. She graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University-Virginia in 2015. Dr. Mora worked at Memorial Hospital West for 8 years, where she expanded her knowledge in temporomandibular joint disorders and gained significant experience in the field. Dr. Mora has obtained specialized and advanced training in temporomandibular joint disorders and craniofacial pain with Mr. Steven Kraus and Mr. Michael Karegeannes, well-known in the field of physical therapy specialized in TMD and orofacial pain in the country. Additionally, Dr. Mora is certified in Dry Needling (Cert. DN) at AAMT (American Academy of Manipulative Therapy) and certified in the Leduc Method of Lymphedema/Manual Lymphatic Management, which are invaluable for reducing swelling and pain in patients with orofacial pain.

After that training, she wanted to dedicate her practice exclusively to treating patients with temporomandibular disorders to bring back their oral functionality, happiness, and quality of life. Dr. Mora currently sees referral patients from Plantation Oral Surgeons and the Florida Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. She has a longstanding relationship with dentists and orthodontists in the area and has an excellent understanding of the dental processes behind temporomandibular dysfunction.

Her passion is to help patients who suffer from tension-type headaches, cervicogenic headaches, TMJ dysfunctions, poor posture/body mechanics, and breathing dysfunctions to restore their functionality and prevent other expensive, high-risk treatments. Dr. Mora likes spiritual life, outdoor activities, loves dogs, also practices yoga and meditation.
