Rob Martin LMT, BCSI Licensed massage therapist in RI #00911 and CT# 002512, Board Certified Structural Integrator 2007, Thai Massage Practitioner and Instructor. Originally from Rhode Island, I have spent the last 21 years doing therapeutic bodywork and the Rolf Method of Structural Integration since 2000. I studied massage therapy with Bob Brown in Santa Rosa and returned to Rhode Island to open a practice in 1992. In 2000, I moved to Boulder, CO and Kauai to study Structural Integration with Peter Melchior and Emmett Hutchins. In 2002, I was introduced to Thai massage by Kam Thye Chow in Montreal and have continued my Thai medicine studies in Thailand and the U.S. with Jason Beasley, Pichet Boonthumme, Koji Hiroshige and Somananda Yogi. My interest in anatomy and movement have led me to further studies within a variety of fields including Structural Integration, Osteopathy, Yoga and Dance.
NCBTMB accredited Classes in Thai Massage and Structural Bodywork are taught in the CT/MA/RI area, and at my studio in Sterling, CT. |
