Practice Information |
Experienced in Swedish/Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Oncology massage, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, Herbal Hot Poultice, Reflexology, Treatment massage, and Reiki/Energy work.
Extra time is spent (time that is not deducted from the massage session) to put clients at ease and to find out if there are any concerns that they have, any particular areas that they need addressed, and to go over how the session will proceed. I can easily establish rapport with clients and put them at ease, as well as being a great listener.
Sessions are customized and I use a combination of techniques to meet the client's needs.
My credo is "Relax, refresh, renew - body, mind, & soul through massage" |

Bio: |
After her graduation from Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Rochester, New York, Lori began her career as a massage therapist at Nurturing Hands Massage and Wellness Center in Pittsford, New York. Her dream, however, was to run her own business.
Taking a risk and jumping in head first, Lori created and opened A Quiet Place of Healing, in Irondequoit, New York, a very successful business for almost 5 years. In 2014, she made the difficult decision to close her business at year’s end and relocate to Deltona, Florida to be closer to her aging parents.
Her additional experience was as a massage therapist/manager of chair massage for patients waiting for their test results at Elizabeth Wende Breast Care, LLC –internationally recognized as a leader in the field of breast imaging and breast cancer diagnosis.
Lori became a massage therapist because she wanted have a career where she could directly affect people and have the ability to make people feel wonderful. She says that he best part of being a massage therapist is having a client come to a session stressed and tense and leaving relaxed and happy!
Outside of massage, Lori enjoys spending time with her family, reading, making soaps, lotions, and salves, working in her flower gardens, and watching the crazy antics of her 2 cats and 1 dog. |
