Welcome to Kathman's Healing Hands. Everyone that enters here is treated like the individual that they are. I customize every session to your needs and use the techniques that best suit you and your needs.. The purpose of massage is to enhance the general health and well-being of the recipient. Massage does not include the diagnosis of a specific pathology, the prescription of drugs or controlled substances, spinal manipulation or those acts of physical therapy that are outside the scope of massage therapy. Massage and Bodywork can help release muscular tension and pain, improve circulation, increase joint flexibility, reduce mental and physical fatigue and stress, promote faster healing of injured muscular tissue, improve posture and reduce blood pressure. Massage may also promote better sleep, improve concentration, reduce anxiety, and create an overall sense of well-being.

Bio:

My name is Teri Kathman of Kathman's Healing Hands. I grew up in a small community and currently live on an acreage by Everly, IA. I attended Body Wisdom School of Massage Therapy in Urbandale, IA. There I learned how to help people with a very rewarding career. I focused on Myofascial Release, Geriatric Massage, Prenatal/Pregnancy Massage, Infant Massage and Reflexology. I was licensed as a Massage Therapist in February 2008. I currently am furthering my education and have begun studies in becoming a Doula. I look forward to each client and session as a new experience of learning and teaching. No two sessions are the same and I will always be learning something new from each person in which I interact. I look forward to sharing in these experiences with each individual.
