Women's health is my primary focus in this practice. Women have so much stress in their lives. We are successful business women, wives, mothers and friends. Here at Indigo Blue you can relax, regenerate and receive the type of care that helps us do what we need to do every day. I will also be offering Fertility massage May 2011.
Indigo Blue Massage & Wellness is a small boutique mobile massage and Reiki/Gua Sha service dedicated to the practice and focus on women's health care. Here each massage session is a professional experience between therapist and client. You will have a unique, but professional massage that will be performed by a State of South Carolina, Licensed, Certified massage therapist that will manage your treatment needs. After gathering a short medical history, we will customize your treatment to your specific needs. We offer only 60 or 90 minute massage sessions, and each session is a full 60 or 90 minutes, which will be designed to target your specific therapeutic area(s).
Our competitive prices range from $70 for a 60 minute specialty massage to $105 for a 90 minute. Add just $10 more for a Deep Tissue massage! Indigo Blue Massage & Wellness, everything is included in your specialty or deep tissue massage session. Each massage session will include, heated towels soaked in Epsom Salts, Hot Stones, Gua Sha (if needed), Esalen, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Aromatherapy, Head, Neck & Shoulder concentration, Facial Massage and Reiki (only if asked to be included and a scented headrest to your choosing). Only organic skin care products and highest quality Sun's Eye essential oils are used! (No standard massage oils are used here!) Deep Tissue Massage is priced accordingly to the amount of work and time, and is all inclusive as well. So come see and experience the difference! (Hot Stones will not be used on anyone with uncontrolled blood pressure.)

My name is Christie Naeher, and I am a Licensed, Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, Reiki Practitioner focusing on Women's Health & Wellness. I am a Facial Rejuvenation specialist for aging muscles and skin, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Esalen, Prenatal and Myofacial Release Specialist. I will be also specializing in Fertility/Infertility massage as of May 4, 2010. I have been practicing my own signature therapeutic massage sessions for more than 5 years now. I graduated from the National Therapeutic Massage Institute, certified in some of the best massage techniques available to therapists, and I have a back ground in the chiropractic massage industry working with chiropractors in this area for several years.
I designed Indigo Blue Mobile Massage & Wellness to be different than just your ordinary massage practice. It was designed on the belief that my female customer's therapeutic massage needs are of the utmost importance to me. I am committed to meeting those healing, holistic needs. As a result, a high percentage of Indigo Blue's business is from regular customers and my client's referrals. I have worked in several spas and salons in this area, but find that I can offer more time with each client to care for their individual needs.
Let me explain a little bit about what brought me to massage. I lost my husband to a massive heart attack. I was left alone with two children to raise, my daughter was 10 and my son was 9. I focused my life on them, but when my daughter was at JMU and my son was about to graduate from high school to go to VCU, I decided that I needed to do something that would be good for me as well as for other people. That led me to going back to school and getting licensed and certified to do therapeutic massage. I loved it from the beginning. It was not the easiest course, but I was dedicated to learning everything I could about the human body and this healing art. This was the best decision that I ever made. I have met some amazing people who come to me so that I can help them heal. If I can help just one person reduce their stress, pain, and lower their blood pressure, it can help them deal with the pressures of every day life. It can also help them enjoy one more day with their families. Massage is so important to help keep you healthy, happy and pain free and able to deal with the stresses wives and moms face everyday. |
