Practice Information

The space is nestled away on Mercer Island, a skin care spa Christine's face and body. The day spa is a hideaway from the daily grind of the city. The body treatments are available Tuesday thru Saturday 10-5. In home massage services are available with Gretchen LMP. To book an appointment contact Kelly.

Education

I graduated from Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2006. I specialize in a variety of modalites. My foundation is in Zen Shiatsu, a chinese medicine cosmology that using acupressure techniques to increase the flow of chi through the bodies meridians. In an hour session I use an Integrative Massage approach with large, connective, spiraling strokes that sink slowley and deeply through the bodies layers. I implement Normalization of Soft Tissue when there are adhesions and tension that need to be worked through and will use trigger point therapy to releave pain. Lymphatic drainage may be used to decrase swelling for an injury or edema.

Bio:

I give massage to help people sleep better and feel better during the day. Providing Reflexology, myofascial release, trigger-point therapy, assisted stretching and ROM excercises can restore optimal muscle function after an injury or illnes. I specialize in pregnancy massage and postpartum support as a Doula. I work at Seattle Naturopathy, Acupuncture and Birth Center and a midwive's assistant.
