Michelle Kelly Dillon is a licensed massage therapist with extensive advanced certifications and trainings for special populations & circumstances, including Oncology, Hospice, TMJ, Pre & Post Natal, Scar Tissue, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Lomi Lomi & Arvigo Mayan Abdominal Massage. Michelle is also a preferred provider by the Society for Oncology Massage and a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association. What is Balsam ? Balsam has many meanings and they all correspond to healing and nature. Balsam relates to a variety of plants: balsam firs, balsam impatiens and balsam poplars to name a few. Balsam is also known to be an aromatic salve or oil. Balsam Fir essential oil is traditionally used to address muscular aches and pains, while the warm aroma soothes and rejuvenates body and mind creating an uplifting sense of well being. The word “balsam” also means anything healing or soothing….need I say more.
