Practice Information |
My specialties are Integrative CranioSacral Therapy and Sports Massage; two opposite ends of the spectrum but both very needed healing and relaxing modalities. I completed Integrative CranioSacral Therapy training in 2001. Consider this light-touch, energy modality if you suffer from depression, high stress, headaches or migraines, sleeplessness and mood swings. Past trauma and specific events causing discomfort in the body are often processed and released appropriately as the clients' body is ready. There is great benefit in using Integrative CranioSacral Therapy during pregnancy to clear trauma's including past births that could inhibit or slow labor progress. I often use Young Living Essential Oils to aide emotional release in this deeply relaxing therapy. Beneficial for infants, children and adults due to it's non-invasive yet effective outcomes, this modality can be a life clearing and changing tool for good. I graduated from Renaissance School of Therapeutic Massage in 2003 and took the National Licensing Exam. I enjoy my combination Sports Massage for healing and removing toxins. I use mostly good pressure stroking including some Russian, Swedish and Deep tissue strokes - sometimes using trigger point techniques if needed and approved by client. I pay special attention to clients' comfort level, striving for the "right" amount of discomfort - making sure that deep breathing is always achievealbe. A distributor for Young Living Essential Oils since 2004, I am happy to represent them as the most consistent and therapeutic grade oils anywhere. I've spent hundreds of dollars on other brands of essential oils, trying to find a "more affordable" avenue. After so much exposure to all of the other brands, I know the results I want and can expect. Essential Oils are an unregulated industry in the US, and anything at least 94% pure can be labeled as 100% pure! This makes aromatherapy not only one of the fastest growing industries, faster growing even than the amount of plants being grown to distill the oils. |
