I'm a Shiatsu Practitioner trained at the Northern School of Shiatsu. I'm a fully insured member of the Shiatsu Society. I am also Reiki Master Practitioner and Crystal Therapist. Using these therapies, I can help relieve tension and stress, promote overall wellbeing, aide sleep and relaxation, whilst alleviating the symptoms of physical aches and pains Shiatsu originated in Japan, where it was developed from Traditional Chinese Medicine and merged with more recent Western therapies. A shiatsu treatment is built around the belief that there are energy channels called meridians running through the body. Although shiatsu means "finger pressure" a number of techniques are used to adjust the body's physical structure and balance the flow of energy through the meridians. Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing experience and regular treatments can alleviate stress and illness, and help maintain health and wellbeing.
