I provide complementary, holistic therapies to a professional standard in a caring and relaxed environment. It might be needless to mention that we are CRB - checked - as we treat vulnerable people.
The basis of any complementary therapy is that the person is treated as a whole taking into consideration the body, the mind and the energy system as well as the recipient’s lifestyle, diet, occupation, emotional state and stress levels. The therapy can be applied in support of conventional medicine, thus complementing the services supplied by health professionals.
In addition, other people enjoy holistic therapies in order to strengthen their sense of wellbeing.
The company name was chosen carefully. 'Equi' derives from the word 'equilibrium' meaning 'a state of equal balance'. 'Libra' is the astrological sign of the scales meaning 'opposing sides are in balance'. The infinity sign links the two and means 'boundlessness'.

Treatments are carried out in our tranquil, attractive treatment room.
There are toilet facilities for clients.
Our therapies are suitable for all ages from the very young to the elderly. Treatments can be carried out with the recipient in a sitting position in a wheelchair (both treatment rooms are wheelchair accessible).
Appointments are available seven days a week between 7am and 9pm.

Bio
I am passionate about helping people to maintain their health or to ensure that they feel better faster -therefore I use various holistic therapies.
Helping people to overcome illness or injury (and the frustration that comes with that) and not being able to achieve all that they want at work, at sport or at home etc. is my aim and helping people to get back on track is what I enjoy.
During my career I have treated all age groups and my therapy approach is always gentle and effective.
I am an experienced and fully qualified Complementary Therapist. I enjoy what I do and that is providing professional bespoke holistic treatments.
As a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and the Sports Massage Association (SMA) I receive regular professional information about the therapies that I have been trained to carry out and I ensure my continuous professional development. Needless to say that I abide by FHT's and SMA's code of Ethics and Professional Practice and by the five Reiki principles.
As a professional I am fully insured and only use professional and ‘CE’ tested equipment.
For many years now have I been giving holistic treatments like Sport Massage (injury treatment and prevention, pre- and post-event), Indian Head Massage, Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Myofascial release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Thermal Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candling), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Reiki and also Reiki for animals.
Since I have a Usui Reiki Master/Teacher qualification I teach Reiki from level I to Master and Teacher Level.
I have been giving many talks on the therapies I carry out, on Holistic Therapies in general and on the relaxing products that I sell which help to balance the body and to help calm individuals who suffer from stress related dis-ease.
I work flexible hours which means that appointments for treatments, talks, group workshops etc. can be arranged at times that suit my clients (that means including evenings and week-ends).
