You can come to True Massage with your stress and tension and not worry about whether Swedish, Deep Tissue or some other modality would be best for your situation. I will help you decide which approach will best meet your needs-- and I will never charge extra for different types of massage.
You should receive a massage specific to your own needs. You are unique and your massage session belongs to you from start to finish. Before your massage begins, I will ask questions and listen to you and tailor your session for you alone. During your massage, you always have the right to express yourself so that you are comfortable and all of your concerns are addressed. After your massage, I will ask you how you are feeling and I will make specific recommendations for you; if you like. I am commited to offering you a peaceful and comfortable experience at True Massage. I will only use honest and upfront methods to earn your trust and keep your business.

I received my certification as a massage therapist & health educator from the National Holistic Institue in Encino, CA.
Bio
I do work that I love, every day.
I have always placed priority on doing work that I find meaningful. I love helping people. That is why I chose to be a "full-time volunteer" with Habitat for Humanity and why I was delighted to be a job-coach for adults with developmental disabilities. When my non-profit work became middle management, I knew I was taking on more stress than I wanted to live with long-term and I needed to consider a career change. I wanted to do enjoyable work that enabled me to help people, but that couldn't be taken home after hours and only required that I manage myself. My friend suggested massage therapy and the idea just rang true. I registered for massage school the next day.
Massage is my gift and my passion.
I have never had more enjoyable work than massage. There just are no bad days. My clients may come to me stressed and in pain, but always leave feeling better. Massage is a special kind of work. In order to do it well, I must be relaxed. And the very act of giving massage is relaxing. So it perpetuates, I am relaxed, I help you relax and life seems just a touch more peaceful. It's no wonder I am passionate about my work- there is no down side!
Niceville is my community.
I grew up through my teen years in Niceville, but left after high school. I lived in Alabama and California before returning to Niceville in 2008. I am happy and content to be living in this community. True Massage is small and unassuming, a bit like Niceville. I am not trying to reach the whole world, I simply want to provide a place where local people and those visiting our community can receive excellent, affordable, personalized massage. I created the kind of place that I would want to go for massage and I hope that it is the place you want to go for massage, too.
