Since 2002 I have offered the highest quality massage based on years of experience as an athlete, weight lifter and now as a Massage Therapist. I focus primarily on Chronic Pain Management and Sports Performance, both rehab and injury prevention. That means I work with high end athletes as well as week end warriors, plus anyone with pain that does not respond to other treatments. I work extensively with Chiropractors, Physical Therapists and doctors, including surgeons, for a multi-modality approach to toal wellness. Whether you are pre or post surgery, I can help make the experience better and reduce the recovery time. If you have had other treatments that do not relieve your pain, come see me.
I also do Chair Massage for businesses, private events and parties.
Education/Training
A life-long student, I once pursued a PhD. I see every day as an opportunity to learn and a day that I do not learn something new I consider to be a wasted day! I got my Massage Certification in February 2002 from the Medical Arts Massage School in Raleigh, NC. Since then I have taken classes with Wolfgang Luckman (Myofascial Release), Tom Myers (Body Reading), Eric Dalton (Myoskeletal Alignment), Jocelyn Olivier (NeuroMuscular Reprogramming) and Rick Rosen (The Way of Ease) as well as classes in PNF and Positional Release, Infant Massage, etc.
Bio
I have been married for 20+ years. We have 2 kids, the first is a Senior at Cardinal Gibbons High School and the younger one is in Middle School at TFS. I am an avid gardener, love most types of music and my 3 crazy rescue dogs!
