Stevi Gelinas Massage & Wellness practices at the T. Murray Wellness Center, Inc. at 24 Pleasant Street, Conway, NH. The T. Murray Wellness Center focuses on helping the body to heal itself. The welcoming atmosphere and holistic approach has clients leaving feeling comfortable and well. All of the practitioners look at the body as a whole and make clear, concise plans for treatment.
Education/Training
Stevi attended the Central Mass School of Massage & Therapy diploma program of 750 hours. This is where she obtained her certification as a Level II Reiki practitioner. She also attends classes for various types of continuing education every year to learn new techniques and procedures. Stevi is a certified Lifestyle Educator for Therapeutic Lifestyle Change techniques. The program that she promotes is FirstLine Therapy from Metagenics.
Bio
My name is Stevi Gelinas and I graduated from the Central Mass School of Massage and Therapy in Spencer, MA in 2009. I started my career as a Massage Therapist at the new state of the art Spa at the Omni Mount Washington Resort. I worked there for 2 years and was able to learn and perform many different types of therapy. The treatments varied from basic swedish massage to salt scrub body treatments and vichy shower treatments. In 2010, I joined the team at the T. Murray Wellness Center, Inc. and began to grow a clientele. I am nationally certified and a licensed massage therapist in New Hampshire.
I served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard for 7 1/2 years and it was when I was deployed to Iraq in 2006 when I found my passion for massage. I was able to see first hand how massage was able to ease stress and relieve muscle tension even in a warzone.
I am also a certified lifestyle educator for FirstLine Therapy. FirstLine Therapy is a program that helps reduce inflammation that causes chronic illness. It has been scientifically proven to reduce the biomarkers that cause Hypertension, High Cholesterol, Diabetes Type II, Metabolic Syndrome, and Altered Body Composition.
