I am NJ and NY state licensed Massage Therapist, as well as being Board Certified. After receiving my Master's degree in Sports Medicine, I obtained my massage therapy degree from the Swedish Institute of Massage. Through my years of working in physical rehabilitation, I realized that the leading healing practice for rehabilitating clients was therapeutic massage. I have worked with various doctors including orthopedics, psychiatrists, neurologists, chiropractors, as well as, sports medicine and pain management doctors, In addition, I work with acupuncturists and physical therapists. I am affiliated with the Nation Certifications Board of Therapeutic Massage (NCBTMB), The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), and the NJ Board for Therapeutic Bodywork.

Bio

I have over 20 years experience in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I am Certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy. Many clients come to me for Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT), which is a technique used for treatment of Lymphedema, an accumulation of fluid that can occur after lymph nodes are removed during surgery. LDT is very gentle, it consists of rubs, strokes or pushes of the skin in directions that follow the structure of the lymphatic system so that the lymph fluid can drain through proper channels. Sessions last from 60 - 90 minutes. Myofascial Release (MFR) therapy is another specialty I use in my practice. It focuses on releasing muscular shortness and tightness. Many patients seek treatment due to losing flexibility or function following an injury or just experiencing ongoing back, shoulder, hip or pain in any area containing soft tissue.
