After studying Oncology Massage and specializing in working with clients who have a diagnosis of cancer, Shannon has returned to her roots in Fargo, ND. She will be rejoining the team at Relaxation Plus in Moorhead, MN the end of July 2011. I am so excited to bring this new knowledge home and to keep working on this path which I embarked on while attending school in CO. Oncology Massage is something which is near and dear to my heart and it gives me the greatest joy to share it with others. I am grateful for the journey I have been on and even more grateful to be moving in this direction back home.

Bio
Shannon Tessier is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of ND and MN. She recieved her training in an 800 hour program at Sister Rosalind Gefre's School of Massage in Fargo, ND and her certification in March 2009. Shannon went on to take the National Exam with the NCBTMB to in order to become nationally certified. During her time of training to be a massage therapist, Shannon also attended classes outside of school to become Reiki attuned to the first and second degree with Jeanne Troge in Park Rapids, MN. Shannon received her Reiki level three in April of 2011 with Melissa Schaff in Fargo, ND. Reiki has always been a modality in which Shannon has realized the full benefit in increasing a sense of what a client needs and to listen to the body's innate intelligence. Reiki has helped Shannon come full circle in her career as a Registered Massage Therapist helping her to become more in tune with all all aspects of her cleint's health and well being. Shannon is now specializing in Reiki healing and has now completed a 274 hour program and is a Certified Oncology Massage Therapist.
It is my mission and intention as a heart-centered Reiki Practitioner and Oncology Massage Therapist to honor every being I have the amazing opportunity to work with and hold a sacred, safe, nurturing, and compassionate space for them to call whatever healing they wish to receive in their life. Through the facilitation and channeling of the pure Universal energy of light and love, I unconditionally support and encourage your empowerment process and am grateful for you and what we can learn from each other.
