Trained, experienced, licensed massage therapist. I do primarily Swedish stress-relieving massage.
I also am trained in Thai Medical massage sometimes known as Thai Yoga massage. It is a lot of stretching, great for many muscular problems. I also use infrared heat in my practice.
I worked at a doctor's office doing medical massage in Virginia for 12 years. I was a volunteer Hospice worker during the same period. I have worked there for over ten years working with patients whose average stay in the facility is seven to eight days. This practice includes relaxation massage,
manual lymph drainage, oncology massage, geriatric massage, infant massage. My patients at Hospice range in age from three weeks to 105 years
I moved to Boynton Beach,Florida in February of 2013, and am currently building my business there.
Bio
My undergraduate training was in secondary education. I worked as a secondary teacher for several years in the U.S. and with Army Dependents' Schools in Europe. My graduate training is in psychology and guidance. My massage training was at the Philadelphia School of Massage, I have had training in Thai Yoga massage in Bangkok, Thailand and a number of courses through one of the greatest Thai massage teachers, Margie Meshew, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am licensed to practice massage in the State of Florida. MA 47708.
