My specialty is Craniosacral Therapy and Myofascial Release Therapy. These are gentle massage techniques that work with the muscles to relieve pain from injury, i. e. physcial or emotional.
The craniosacral therapy works on the brain and spinal column to release restrictions that are formed
from injury in the body somewhere. There is a core pulse that can be monitored which tells the therapist
where the restrictions are. The myofascial release therapy is used for treating and managing chronic and acute pain by releasing the fascia around the muscles and cells. There have been reported cases of people with chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and other chronic pain disorders being helped by this form of massage. The client can remain fully clothed during the sessions.

I am also a Reiki master. Reiki is a Japanese technique for relaxation that promotes healing. It is done through light touch or hands placed above the body. A warm and soothing energy flows from the hands into the client, promoting relaxation and releasing tension. This is good for cancer patients and is supported by programs and research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital as well as Beaumont Hospital.
The technique is good for headaches, muscle pain, and general relaxation. Clients remain clothed during a session of Reiki
