Southern Utah's Most Therapeutic Massage
The therapists' want you to know that there is a difference in the types of
massage available in Southern Utah. Most establishments offer you "Spa Massage" and while this type
of massage is definitely beneficial in helping to reduce stress and helping you relax, it, in most cases,
just doesn't go far enough to address your specific health needs. Whereas, "Therapeutic Massage" ,as
we practice it, is designed to help you achieve your specific wellness goals. Sports massage will not
only help you increase endurance and performance, but always reduces the likelihood of many athletic
injuries. Injury massage helps the body heal and recover more quickly from injury, surgery, and illness.
Structural massage is designed to correct postural and movement imbalances so that we can function
more efficiently with the constant force of gravity. Pre-Natal and Post Natal massage can reduce stretch
marks and make the transititions occurring to both Mother and Child smoother.

These are just a few of the differences of "therapeutic massage" which can have lasting and dynamic
effects. We have created a therapist driven practice where we attract the kind of individual who wants
to continually improve their skills and whose primary concern is for the benefit of those we treat.
Education/Training
Nevada School of Massage Therapy
Bio
Michael has enjoyed and been involved with bodywork all his life. Even as a
teenager he was learning about energy work, Hatha & Kriya Yoga, Reflexology
and massage. In 1974, while living in Hawaii, he was taught Lomi-Lomi in the
traditions of Morna Simeona. Also at this time he was first introduced to Rolfing
and many oriental traditions.

Finally after 25 years in the credit and collection industry, where he was a
collections manager, private investigator, and represented clients in small claims
court, Michael followed his dream and went to the Nevada School of Massage
Therapy in Las Vegas. While just a student he passed his National Certification 6
weeks before graduation which enabled him to get his Utah Massage license in a
record 19 days after he finished school. So after 25 years of rubbing people the
wrong way, he now gets to rub them the right way!

Working with clear intent, Michael uses all his skills to make each session with
each client the best ever. He learns from everyone he encounters and his primary
goal is to continue to perfect the skills that make his bodywork sessions truly
memorable.
