Life Kneads, Inc. was started in 2004 with this mission in mind: to make a positive difference in people’s lives, and to improve the client's quality of health through massage, education, and awareness.
We use a combination of massage and bodywork techniques in each session to meet the client's goals. We also offer heated stones , aromatherapy, and hot packs at no extra charge. On the client's first visit to our office , we perform a thorough health and history to ensure we understand and meet the client's health needs. Each session is tailored to the client's needs with input from the client.
The office is located in a corporate office building near Johnston and Hwy. 51 - just 2 miles north of the Ballantyne area. Life Kneads, Inc. has been in this location for 6 years, not only providing therapeutic massage, but also self-care products such as "the Stick", "Backnobber", "Speed Gel" , a variety of Aromatherapy products, Moon Valley Organic products, and flaxseed neck warmers, but also offering stretching and exercise information to help make the effects of the massage last longer and self-care easier.

Education/Training
Rita Garnto graduated in 2002 from the Therapeutic Massage Training Institute in Charlotte, NC and started Life Kneads, Inc. in 2004. Prior to opening her private practice, Rita worked in a varienty of hospitals and countries as a Registered Respiratory Therapy. Her medical experience includes 3 1/2 years as part of the trauma flight team , "MedCenter Air", at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
Rita’s massage techniques include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Heated Stone Massage, Reflexology, Myofascial Tissue Release, Cancer Support Massage, Stretching, Movement therapy, Aromatherapy, Intention, and Caring.
Stefanie Davis graduated from the Cincinnati School of Medical Massage in 2002. She has worked extensively assisting chiropractors and physical therapists.
Stefanie’s massage techniques include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, Postpartum, Neuromuscular, and Stretching

Graduated in 2002 from the Therapeutic Massage Training Institute in Charlotte, NC. She worked as a Respiratory Therapist for 20 years prior to opening up her massage practice. This extensive medical background has complimented her massage therapy training and experience. Rita’s massage techniques include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Heated Stone Massage, Reflexology, Myofascial Tissue Release, Cancer Support Massage, Stretching, Movement therapy, Intention, and Caring.
Stefanie Davis, LMBT (NC#10040)
Vice President, Life Kneads, Inc.
Graduated from the Cincinnati School of Medical Massage in 2002. Thereafter she started a private practice, focusing on sports related injuries. She has also worked extensively assisting chiropractors and physical therapists. Through her work she has come to sincerely believe in and respect the power of touch to heal the body, mind, and spirit. Stefanie’s massage techniques include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, Postpartum, Neuromuscular, and Stretching.
The variety of their training adds to the client’s massage experience making each session individually customized to the client’s needs and requests. The main focus of Rita & Stefanie’s massage therapy is to help improve the quality of health through massage, education, and awareness.
