Massage for the Body, Mind, & Spirit
Sacred Elements Massage Therapy
The healing systems of many cultures, including our own, use hands-on therapies to soothe aches and pains, and facilitate the body’s own healing powers. At any age, massage has been found to enhance general health and well being.
Many of the therapeutic effects of massage recognized by personal and clinical experience have been supported by scientific research. In addition to the commonly known benefits of relaxation, improved circulation, and relief for muscle tension, new applications for therapeutic massage are surfacing in areas relating to mental and emotional well-being, infant care, aging, and other specialized situations.
Therapeutic massage can be an important component of your health maintenance. Massage alleviates problem conditions, reduces stress, and complements other health care modalities.
At Sacred Elements Massage, owned and operated by Jeanette Ladores, RN, NCTMB, CYT, we work with you to alleviate pain, improve your performance, and reach your wellness goals. All sessions are by appointment only.

Bio
Growing up on a horse farm in Northern New Jersey, Jeanette has always been close, or drawn, to the natural world. The love of Sustainable Living was the initial doorway through which she explored Herbalism, Homeopathy, Yoga, and "Alternative Medicine". After spending some time pursuing a Pre-Medical curriculum at Boston University, the Universe conspired to instead lead Jeanette along a different path.
A Graduate of the State University of New York with a degree in Nursing, Jeanette has been a practicing Registered Nurse specializing in Acute/Critical Care since 1996. Her lifelong interest in Alternative Medicine, first kindled by time spent in the Philippine Islands as a young child, led her to explore various Touch Therapy and Energy Techniques including Reiki which she trained and apprenticed in through the third level. In 2005, Jeanette earned her 900 hour certification in Massage Therapy through the Myotherapy Institute of Massage. She opened a private practice focused on somatic therapies based in both Eastern and Western methodologies while also consulting at top spas in the NJ area. Constantly striving to expand her scope of practice, Jeanette also carries certifications in Yoga and Pilates.
An avid Musician and Percussionist, Jeanette has researched the effects of music and drumming on the body, and has studied different forms of Sound Therapy, Yoga and Martial Arts since 1992. In 2006 she moved to Austin Texas to follow her passion for Music, where she ran a successful private practice catering to special needs clientele as well as renewed her martial arts training in a form of Philippine Martial Arts called Pekiti Tirsia Kali. In the fall of 2010, Jeanette closed her Austin office and moved back to North New Jersey to live a more authentic and sustainable lifestyle at Sycamore Grove Farms and become more involved in Community.

I am a very active 25/male who met Jeanette through a recommendation. She truly changed my perspective on what a massage is, I now see it as a holistic healing session. After a motorcycle wreck at 23, a bicep reattachment and shoulder orthoscopy, I had serious debilitating neck pain and stiffness. She helped me with both pain relief and rehabilitation. Now at 25 I'm back to rock climbing and intensive weight training ... Jeanette's eclectic knowledge of the massage therapies combined with her knowledge of the human body make her a force to be reckoned with! Truly a great find for your therapeutic needs ...

I am a woman in my sixties with neck and lower back pain. My body leaned forward after years of bad posture from back pain and a foot that needed surgery. Even after the foot surgery, it was difficult to stand without leaning forward. My muscles were trained to that position, and naturally were very tense.
Jeanette's massages have helped relieve my muscle tension and pain, and helped me to stand upright with better posture. She is very knowledgeble and careful. I never feel self-conscious with her, and I always feel a deep sense of relief and peace after her massages.

I'm a female in my early thirties with scoliosis. I've had a lot of massage work done in the past.
Jeanette is the most precise and accurate massage therapist I've ever encountered. Her ability to find and contact massage points in my twisted spine, without causing me any discomfort, is a fairly incredible feat.
Beyond her considerable knowledge of the human anatomy, Jeanette is kind, joyful, confident, intelligent and radiates a healing, peaceful energy during her sessions. Even though I have not tried every technique she has to offer, Jeanette made suggestions for future sessions, based on how my body responded, and I have experienced incredible stress relief in my body as a result. Furthermore, Jeanette has both a breath and depth of knowledge in her diverse array of techniques, and the capacity to communicate brilliantly on the topic, should you decide to try something new.
This is the best massage therapist there is. You should go see her.

I've had lots of massages from lots of different folks.
Jeanette creates an especially welcoming environment, and has training as a registered nurse,
as well as all the massage therapy training, so it's very comforting to know that she totally knows
what she's doing.
I've been getting massages from Jeanette every week for over a year, and I recommend her highly.

I am a 25 year old male with AS for three years, began with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at about eight years old. I have been receiving several types of massage therapy for several years from Jeanette and have been extremely happy to have such a well qualified and kind person to work with me. I'd received massages from several others prior to seeing Jeanette was optimistic about massage until i met her realized that I hadn't ever been properly worked over in the first place. She has also tried above and beyond to help me find some solution to my pain besides massage, that kind of personal treatment cannot have a price placed on it.
I would highly recommend Jeanette to anyone that is looking for quality and knowledge in massage therapy techniques.
