White Ginger Healing- therapeutic Massage
"Massage is Medicine" at White Ginger Healing. Located within Hilo Natural Health Clinic, my practice has three primary areas of focus:
1) PAIN RELIEF especially of the neck, head, and back.
2) STRESS REDUCTION.
3) COMPLEMENTARY CARE for cancer/chronic illness to reduce symptoms, increase immunity, and improve Quality of Life.

I believe in treating the whole person- offering compassionate care and nurturing hope; one thing that distinguishes my practice is being willing to listen.
Most of my clients find that my style of bodywork is profoundly relaxing. Wihile wth some massage therapists, clients feel like they just worked out at the gym; at WGH you are more likely to fall asleep. I do focussed deep tissue work when appropriate, but I am not by nature an "elbow in the back" kind of therapist.

Sessions are individually tailored and may include a variety of massage techniques, acupressure, foot reflexology, and hot stones.

* And remember at Hilo Natural Health Clinic, people have access to two other healing modalities: a Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Sarah Strong, ND and an acupuncturist/TCM practitioner, Cathrine Wingate, LAc.
