I specialize in DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE including MYOFASCIAL RELEASE and TRIGGER POINT THERAPY; both provide relief of pain for you. I often use HOT STONES or NEGATIVE PRESSURE MASSAGE (Cupping) to further relax the muscles. You will find this to be most relaxing, just melting your stressand tension away. I also still enjoy providing an excellent Relaxation / Stress Reduction type (SWEDISH) MASSAGE.
How am I different? CLIENT-CENTERED MASSAGE. It is all about YOU and your preferences! DISCOUNTS are offered to regular clients & seniors making regular massage more affordable. Most massages INCLUDE EXTRAS at no additional charge - hot stones, aromatherapy, heated table, etc, when needed. 60-minute massage is a FULL 60 MINUTES on the table plus time for paperwork, assessment, and disrobing. You receive 60 minutes of actual massage therapy.
Education/Training
I graduated from Massage Therapy Training Institute (now Wellsprings School of Allied Health) in February 2006. I regularly exceed annual requirements for continuing education. I love to learn techniques that will benefit my clients.
Upon graduation I chose to take the National Certification Board exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, required in most states for licensure, even though it is not required in the State of Kansas. I maintain my certification through NCBTMB. I am committed to improving my understanding of anatomy and techniques so I am able to provide the best and latest in treatment options.
