Craniosacral therapy benefits those who suffer from headaches, sinus issues, TMJ dysfunction and whiplash or some psychological issues. Beneficial for children and infants, Cranisacral work helps babies whose heads are misaligned by the birthing process and can help with birth trauma. School-age children receive assistance with behavioral issues, sleep disorders (such as bed wetting and nightmares), learning challenges (ADHD, autism).
Education/Training
Medical and Sports Massage clients are those who benefit most from my therapy. My training includes 705 hours of training at the Cayce-Reilly School in Virginia Beach, VA, followed by more than 1500 hours in continuing education studies, including Myofascial Release, Integrative Manual Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Lymphatics,Bowen Technique, Lowen Systems, Visceral Manipulation, and Kinesio Taping. I am a Certified Biofeedback Technician.
Bio
Working with love and compassion, I have been in continuous practice since 1995, with more than 1,500 hours in continuing education. I don't feel that any single massage modality can cover everyone's challenges, so I continue learning in an effort to have more tools with which to work. My training inludes Sports Massage Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Integrative Manual Therapy, Visceral Manipulation (work with the organs), Bowen Technique and Lowen Systems. My touch is deep, but light, so you remain pain-free during treatment. I've treated many top-level, well-known athletes, as well as medical conditions and am available for a free telephone consultation.
Other services include Quantum Biofeedback and Kinesiotaping for lymphatic or pain issues, or for athletes who want to have safe, yet optimal performance.
