Trained as a physical therapist in England, I bring to my practice as a massage therapist, a wealth of knowledge that allows me to assess the body's imbalances and distortions and apply the appropriate and most efficient treatment, with the least amount of discomfort.
I have been in private practice in Leesburg for 16 years.
I have over 500 hours of post graduate education in numerous modalities, including myofascial release, strain and counterstrain, ortho-bionomy, muscle energy and neuromuscular techniques, which allow me to address a wide variety of conditions.
I teach a weekly therapeutic exercise class
For the past 10 years, I have taught and continue to teach a couples massage class at Ida Lee Recreation Center in Leesburg.
In addition, I created for parents, an infant and baby massage class.
For 16 years, I have been an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association, and have been editor of the quarterly newsletter for that time. Currently I am the 1st Vice President.
