Alana Monge is a Nationally Certified and Registered Massage Therapist and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, the Boulder College of Massage Therapy Alumni Association, the Carbondale, CO Chamber of Commerce, KDNK (Carbondale's Community Access Radio Station), CCAH (Carbondale Council on Arts and Humanities), and a local Natural Practitioners Network. She graduated with honors from the 1000 hour plus massage therapy program at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) in Boulder, CO. She has taken additional continuing education classes from BCMT in prenatal and postpartum massage as well as labor support. She has also been participating in a program called the "Uplevel Your Life Mastery Program," which has been great for getting clear, setting intentions, and creating a full and rewarding life!
Alana was raised in the Roaring Fork Valley, and is excited to be back, living in Carbondale and providing massage therapy to valley residents and visitors in Glenwood Springs, CO. Alana also has a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a B.S. in Cultural Anthropology from Santa Clara University, spent several years in the outdoor/environmental education field, and loves being in the outdoors. During the harvest season Alana spends one day a week at Sustainable Settings, a wonderful organic, Carbondale farm just south on Hwy. 133. Alana also sells GiaWellness products that help protect against the harmful effects of electromagnetic radiation (EMR). |
