Focus Massage Swedish Massage techniques will be used to relieve your specific areas of stress and discomfort. The amount of pressure applied is also based upon your specific needs. The massage will be given on a massage table, either fully or partially clothed depending on the client preference. Other options include aroma therapy and choice of lotion or oils at no additional costs. This is not a relaxation massage, it is designed to restore muscle tone and promote good health. Treatment time: 15 minutes - $20.00 / 30 minutes - $35.00 Swedish Massage Swedish massage is a vigorous system of treatment designed to energize the body by stimulating circulation. Five basic strokes, all flowing toward the heart, are used to manipulate the soft tissues of the body. The disrobed client is covered by a sheet, with only the areas being worked on exposed. Therapists use of combination of kneading, rolling, vibrational, percussive, tapping movements, with the application of lotion or oil to reduce friction on the skin. The benefits of Swedish Massage may include generalized relaxation, dissolution of scar tissue adhesions and improve circulation, which may speed healing and reduce swelling from injury. Deep Tissue Massage, Chinese Tuina Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Swedish Massage, Acupuncture, Shiatsu (Japanese Walking Massage), Foot Reflexology. Tuina uses the traditional Chinese medical theory of the flow of Qi through the meridians as its basic therapeutic orientation. Through the application of massage and manipulation techniques Tuina seeks to establish a more harmonious flow of Qi through the system of channels and collaterals allowing the body to naturally heal itself.
