I have been practicing massage for almost 10 years . I use many types of modalities I have both learned and developed over the years. Through my own learning experience I have learned to help and cure many clients who spend countless hours on the computer and stressed with muscle pain that goes from the neck through the arms wrists and fingers and lower back. Deep tissue is my specialty but I can accommodate all body types by feedback and palpation techniques. Many of my clients are amazed at the results I can achieve in only one session but extreme cases will take a few sessions to get significant results for the clients relief and satisfaction, that much I can guarantee or your money back. I throughly enjoy what I do and get great satisfaction from easing my clients through their pain and stress. Other times are available but all appointments are made by calling me. You can call me to discuss your problem or concerns and I will tell you what your treatment plan will involve.

Often when people hear the words massage therapy, they think of hot stones, Spa, or aromatherapy treatments. All of those are wonderful at reducing stress and relaxing us, but when you have an injury , dysfunction or need rehabilitation, you need bodywork that is far more specific. Muscles help control movement. When they are stressed, overworked or injured, you feel pain, discomfort and limited mobility. Clinical Massage differs from relaxation massage in that it focuses on specific muscles and soft tissue that are often the root cause of our pain and disfunction. By effectively softening, lengthening or addressing adhesions ("knots), and restrictions in tissues, this work helps muscles and soft tissue work more effectively and pain free. A combination of modalities ranging from deep tissue, Swedish, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy are combined to customize a treatment specific to each individual client's needs. After all, we all have different lifestyles, different health levels and concerns, so one "cookbook" treatment could not possible work for each person, even if they have the same diagnosis! Call today to learn more about Clinical Massage and how it can help you feel your best.

“Neuromuscular deep tissue massage, Sports Specific Massage, and medical rehabilitation massage including pre and post surgery, relaxation treatments for oncology and parkinson suffers are also offered…hot stone is available. My knowledge makes me stand out. I take the time to find the route of the pain. I educate the client on the possible reasons why they feel chronic pain, and how to incorporate change to feel better. Having a degree and advanced knowledge on the anatomy and kinesiology of the body is what makes me stand out and the highest standards of practice and professionalism is what makes up Ellsworth Massage Therapy.”

My practice is intuitive based. I listen to the body's rhythm to move my hands to the areas most needed to be massaged. My technique is somewhat of an ironing out the wrinkles in the bodys muscles. I use Ayurvedic herbal organic oils. With my initial touch I use Cranio Sacral holds to calm the mind and relax the body. The Cranio Sacral techniques work with the facia of the body releasing adhesions. Then I do a deep relaxation massage. When the body is relaxed I will use deep tissue massage if there are tight areas of holding. I use hot stones when someones body is hurting, long term chronic fatique or fibromyalgia. The heat relaxes the muscles and relieves the pain. Over time and lifestyle changes the pain can be decreased significantly. I also do Ayurveda, using meditation, pranyama (deep breathing) techniques. During your treatment you will often be instructed to breathe at the beginning. The remainiing time is a quiet deeply relaxing experience. I also do 6 week 2 hour workshops. At the last session I serve a beautiful bouguet of delicious organic foods.
