Intentional Bodywork is the independent massage therapy practice of Ashley Hetrick, LMT. Ashley is a Licensed Massage Therapist (NH), a Reiki Practitioner and a trained Pilates Instructor in the Balanced Body School of Pilates. Ashley is originally from Southern California, but relocated to the northeast to study Biology at Dartmouth College in 2003. After graduation, she worked in the field of healthcare, but ultimately decided that the best way to improve individual health and wellbeing is through care for the whole being. In 2011, she returned to school to study Massage Therapy, which included over 800 hours of coursework and hands on practice focusing on anatomy, functional movement, sports massage, deep tissue and facilitated stretching. Her professional experience includes work at Topnotch Resort in Stowe, sports rehabilitation massage for varsity athletes as part of Dartmouth Peak Performance Initiative, and Oncology & Medical Massage at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
