Contact Hawaii Medical & Sports Massage
Aloha, my name is Bill Seemann, owner of Hawaii Medical & Sports Massage. I am both Hawaii State licensed and Nationally Certified in therapeutic massage. For the past 11 years my primary focus has been to assist people in the recovery and prevention of soft-tissue injuries. A common question I'm asked is, "What kind of massage do you do?" Each individual is unique and so is each session depending on needs and requests. If someone comes to me with a pain condition, I look to muscular imbalances in the body to determine the cause of the pain. In most cases pain in one area is caused by an imbalance in another area. Through the implementation of myofascial release, deep tissue therapy, trigger point release and PNF stretching, I assist the client in re-establishing structural balance and the pain is relieved. When working with individuals who may not be experiencing pain, I tailor each treatment to address and meet their specific goals. The techniques are similar to those used in relieving pain, except that the focus is on pain prevention and enhanced quality of life. In many cases, I also apply kinesio taping at the end of the massage to help the client in their healing and wellness process. If you have any questions about your specific issues and/or treatment goals, please feel free to call me. I'd be more than happy to talk with you.
