||Helping people to access and enhance the body's natural healing abilities so that they can overcome pain and dysfunction. Each session is customized to the individual’s unique needs, using CranioSacral Therapy as a primary modality and, when appropriate, bringing in other therapies that address the central nervous system, such as Visceral Manipulation, Muscle Energy Technique, etc.
Long-term positive results are best obtained by respecting the person's mind-body integrity rather than forcing change upon them. Forcing change does not address the cause of the symptoms and the body will either resist the therapist's imposition or adapt to it. When it adapts, other symptoms are likely to occur sometime in the future because the cause of the problem has not been resolved.
The goal here is to gently get to the root of your pain and/or dysfunction, eliminate the problem, and bring you to a more healthful and harmonious state.
